Up-to-date document management makes collaboration easier
Construction projects often involve several companies and other participants. This makes clear, up-to-date document management essential.
“Document management is a very important feature for us. It ensures that we and the other project participants always have access to the latest drawings and documents,” says Ville Tullila, a construction management engineer at Herttuan Kiinteistöpalvelu.
The project bank also makes information security easier to manage.
“We can restrict user access to folders containing confidential information. Since projects involve users from several companies, document management also needs to be straightforward to use.”
The project bank also supports tendering
Herttuan Kiinteistöpalvelu also uses the project bank to run procurement tenders.
“We tender construction projects using the project bank’s open procedure, which can also be linked to HILMA. For smaller tenders below the procurement threshold, we use the project bank’s restricted procedure, which allows us to invite bidders,” Tullila explains.
